Lesson 11/11 The risk hiding in your LinkedIn CV

Too many candidates leak sensitive personal data, which opens the door to harassment, malicious sign-ups on dodgy sites, and sophisticated social engineering. How to keep control: anonymise the sensitive details - a recruiter is never going to turn up at your house; use a dedicated professional email address and a cheap throwaway phone number just for applications; and remember that public information alone is enough for an attacker to work on your emotions and get around your defences.
